Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about your rights and our service.

Am I blocked from claiming if I live outside the EU?

No. The regulation applies to all passengers departing from an EU airport, regardless of nationality. It also applies to passengers arriving in the EU on an EU carrier.

How long does the process take?

It varies by airline. Some settle in 2-4 weeks, others fight for months. On average, our Standard Claims take 8-12 weeks to payout.

Can I claim for a flight from 2 years ago?

Yes! In many countries (like the UK), you can claim for flights up to 6 years ago. In Germany, it's 3 years. We check the statute of limitations for you automatically.

What if the delay was due to weather?

Weather is considered an 'extraordinary circumstance,' so compensation is usually not payable. However, airlines often use this excuse incorrectly. We cross-reference historical weather reports to verify.

Do I have to pay if I lose?

No. With our Standard Claim service, it is strictly 'No Win, No Fee'. If we don't get you money, you owe us nothing.

How will I get paid?

Once we recover your funds, we transfer them directly to you via Wise (formerly TransferWise) or secure bank transfer. You will receive an email prompting you to accept the payment in your preferred currency.
